Instruction

Four formats. The same fundamentals.

What changes between them is how much of Randy's attention you get and how many people you share it with. What does not change is the method, or the standard.

Four ways to work with him

Every format below teaches the same fundamentals — the difference is how much of Randy’s attention you get and how many people you share it with.

  • Private Lessons

Any level, from first lesson to touring player

One student, one instructor, one table. The fastest way to find and fix what is actually costing you games.

    What you leave with

    • A stroke you can repeat under pressure
    • A complete analysis of stance, bridge and alignment
    • The Mother Drills for repeatable cue ball control and alignment
    • A diagnosis of the specific habit holding your game back
    • A practice plan you can work on alone

Rates depend on the format, the length of the session and travel. Ask Randy directly and he will give you his schedule and fees.

  • Group Lessons

Leagues, teams, and friends who practice together

Small groups working the same fundamentals together. Randy recommends forming a group to bring the per-player cost down.

    What you leave with

    • Shared Mother Drills you can keep running as a group
    • A common vocabulary for talking about the table
    • More table time per dollar than a private lesson

Rates depend on the format, the length of the session and travel. Ask Randy directly and he will give you his schedule and fees.

  • HOF Billiard Academy

Players ready to rebuild rather than patch

The multi-day intensive Randy has run since 2009, built end to end on the SPF & F method.

    What you leave with

    • Complete rebuild of stance, bridge and stroke mechanics
    • Aiming and cue-ball control taught as one system
    • The comprehensive Mother Drills curriculum
    • Written material to take home and keep working

Rates depend on the format, the length of the session and travel. Ask Randy directly and he will give you his schedule and fees.

  • Instructor Development

    Players moving toward teaching

Randy's schools graduate certified instructors, not only players. Training from a co-founder of the certification program itself.

    What you leave with

    • Instruction in how to diagnose another player, not just yourself
    • The SPF & F curriculum from its co-author
    • ACS and PBIA instructor pathway guidance

Rates depend on the format, the length of the session and travel. Ask Randy directly and he will give you his schedule and fees.

How it works

What happens after you send the form.

  1. You get in touch

Send an inquiry or call. Tell Randy where your game is, what is going wrong, and what you are trying to reach.

  2. Randy tells you honestly

Whether he can help, which format fits, and what it would cost. If he is not the right person, he will say so.

  3. You work at a table

In Dallas, or wherever you are — Randy travels, and may already have training scheduled near you.

  4. You leave with a plan

Not just corrections, but something to practice alone, and a way to tell whether it is working.

Dallas, or your table.

Randy teaches regularly in Dallas and travels the rest of the time. If you are elsewhere in the country, say where you are in your message — he may already have training booked near you, which changes what it costs.

Groups are worth considering for the same reason. Splitting a session between a few players from your league brings the per-person cost down considerably.

Ready when you are

Send Randy the details and he will come back to you personally with his schedule and fees.
